چکیده
Abstract Plants are considered as a source of medicine to treat skin-related disorders since decades. Seeds Psoralea corylifolia were used thousands years ago for re-pigmentation in vitiligo patients especially South Asia. It is well-known fact that melanocytes, which the specialized cells skin causes through series chemical and enzymatic reactions, mainly due copper containing enzyme tyrosinase. Conditions associated with overproduction melanin termed hyperpigmentation. The treatment options generally limited complicated slow pathogenesis disease. Therefore, therapeutic repigmentation modalities highly desirable. aim this study was investigate effects various doses ethanol water extracts P. seeds on proliferation normal human cultured melanocytes its gas chromatography–mass spectrometry profiling.

Natural Oils Enhance IL-10 and IFN-γ Production by Human PBMCs Cultured with Malassezia furfur
Background: Malassezia furfur is alipophilic yeast that causes skin disease. Objective: To evaluate the level of IL-10, IFN-γ and IL-12P70 in co-incubation of M. furfur grown on different forms of natural oils with PBMCs of healthy individuals. Methods: PBMCs were obtained from blood samples of normal volunteers. M. furfur was cultured in different culture media containing almond oil, fish oil,...

متن کاملAntibodies to normal human melanocytes in vitiligo
Most patients with active vitiligo (82% of 61) have antibodies to antigens of normal human melanocytes that can be detected by specific immunoprecipitation of radioiodinated, detergent-soluble, melanocyte macromolecules. Such antibodies were present in only 12% of patients with melanoma and in none of 35 patients with nonpigmentary skin diseases. The antibodies were directed to a common antigen...
